Honeymoon Yacht Komodo Private Charter — The Complete Curated Package
Bespoke 4-, 6-, and 8-day private phinisi voyages from Labuan Bajo with master-suite-only configuration, dedicated chef, professional photography, and the romantic gestures that turn a charter into a wedding-album centrepiece.
What Is a Komodo Honeymoon Yacht?
A Komodo honeymoon yacht is a four-to-eight-day private phinisi or motor-yacht charter through Komodo National Park, configured exclusively for a newlywed or anniversary couple, with a master suite stateroom as the only occupied cabin, a private chef trained in plated romantic service, a topside-and-underwater photography team for the wedding-album-quality gallery, a deck jacuzzi or freshwater plunge pool for the sunset turn-down, a Pink Beach linen-and-silver private picnic, sunset cocktails staged on the foredeck each evening, optional vow-renewal ceremony coordination, and a dedicated romantic concierge available on WhatsApp around the clock. It is structurally different from a standard Komodo liveaboard charter — which is shared, dive-focused, and buffet-catered — and it is priced as a romantic luxury product rather than a per-cabin liveaboard product. This page documents our complete curated honeymoon-yacht package: the three voyage variants, the four partner vessels we curate this season, the inclusions, and the transparent pricing matrix.
The Curated Concierge Package — What This Product Actually Delivers
The Honeymoon Yacht Komodo curated concierge is a single all-inclusive product that combines vessel charter, crew, chef, photography, romantic staging, and post-voyage gallery delivery into a single transparent price. The standard configuration runs four, six, or eight days aboard, with three meals plus afternoon high tea daily, professional photography across the full voyage with seven-day gallery delivery, the Pink Beach private picnic on the day-three or day-four anchorage, sunset cocktails every evening, the deck jacuzzi turn-down on at least two nights, all national-park and ranger fees, all airport transfers in Labuan Bajo, and twenty-four-hour romantic-concierge support on WhatsApp. Optional add-ons — the vow-renewal ceremony, helicopter overfly photography, the four-minute highlight film, the live string quartet flown in from Bali — are individually quoted and transparent.
Our concierge exists because the standard Komodo charter market squeezes the romantic configuration out by default. The fleet is overwhelmingly built for dive groups and shared liveaboard cabins; the genuine couples-only honeymoon configuration is a thin curated layer that requires hand-selecting the right vessels, briefing the crew on the romantic register, and managing the logistics that turn a beautiful boat into a wedding-album voyage. We rebuilt that layer from first principles. If you want the unfiltered route detail of how the days actually unfold, our Komodo honeymoon yacht romantic route itinerary walks the timeline anchorage by anchorage.
Variant One — The Four-Day Romantic Signature Voyage
The four-day signature is the most-booked of our three voyages. You arrive into Labuan Bajo airport (LBJ) on the morning ferry-flight from Bali Denpasar (DPS), our driver collects you from the airport, and you board the yacht at the Marina Komodo jetty by 12:00. The captain runs the safety briefing while the deckhand opens the welcome champagne in the master suite, and by 13:00 the bow points east through the Linta Strait toward Padar Island. Day two anchors at Padar for the sunrise three-bay vista photograph from the famous viewpoint trail, then runs north to Pink Beach for the private linen picnic with rose-gold serviceware. Day three takes the manta ray cleaning station at Manta Point and the afternoon hike at Komodo Island Loh Liang ranger post for the dragon photography. Day four runs the gentle return to Labuan Bajo with a sunrise anchorage at Kanawa Island and disembarkation at 12:00 in time for the afternoon flight back to Bali.
Four-Day Signature Pricing
The four-day signature runs in three vessel tiers. Atelier Classic on a thirty-five-metre modern phinisi for the couple plus a four-person dedicated crew (captain, deckhand, chef, photographer) starts at the equivalent of US$8,500 for the full charter. Atelier Premium on a forty-two-metre phinisi with full sky-lounge, deck jacuzzi, and six-person crew starts at US$12,800. Atelier Signature on our flagship fifty-metre phinisi with twin master suites, dedicated spa-style master bathroom, and eight-person crew starts at US$18,500. All inclusions described above are part of the headline.

Variant Two — The Six-Day Pink Beach Plus Vow Renewal Voyage
The six-day variant is the photographically richest of the three for guests prioritising the wedding-album gallery and the optional vow-renewal ceremony. You board in Labuan Bajo at 12:00 on day one, the voyage runs the same Padar-Pink-Beach-Manta-Point opening sequence as the four-day, and on day three the captain anchors at Pink Beach for the vow-renewal ceremony staging. The florist arrives at the beach at 06:00 with frangipani, white lily, and palm-foliage arrangements; the celebrant arrives by 09:00 (the Catholic priest from the Ruteng diocese, the Hindu pemangku from Bali, or your nominated officiant); the photographer covers the ceremony at 10:00; and the chef serves a celebration luncheon on the foredeck under a white-canvas pavilion. The afternoon resumes the voyage with a swim at Pink Beach. Day four runs north to Gili Lawa Darat for the panoramic sunset hike — one of the most photographed sunset views in Indonesian tourism — and the return route on days five and six anchors at Sebayur Island for the calm-water photography and at Kanawa for the final morning. Read the day-three vow-renewal protocol on the romantic itinerary route guide.
Six-Day Voyage Pricing
Atelier Classic: from US$13,400. Atelier Premium: from US$19,500. Atelier Signature: from US$28,800. Vow-renewal ceremony coordination — celebrant, florist, ceremony staging, photography ceremony coverage — adds US$1,800 to US$4,200 depending on the celebrant choice and the ceremony scale. Live string quartet flown in from Bali for milestone anniversaries adds US$2,400. Read the full cost breakdown on our honeymoon yacht Komodo cost and 2026 pricing breakdown.
Variant Three — The Eight-Day Editorial Voyage
The eight-day editorial voyage is the full atelier configuration. The route extends beyond the standard Komodo National Park rotation to include the southern islands of Rinca and Nusa Kode (rarely visited by standard liveaboard charters because the southerly swell complicates the mooring), the eastern reef at Crystal Rock, and a dedicated photography day at the Komodo dragon ranger post in Loh Buaya with extended ranger access. Helicopter overfly photography from Labuan Bajo on day five captures the aerial wedding-album frames over Padar and Pink Beach. The voyage closes with a private dinner with the captain and chef at the cockpit table on night seven — a small ritual we have developed over years of editorial voyages where the captain presents the voyage logbook with hand-drawn anchorage notes as a gift to the couple. The eight-day voyage is the configuration most documented by lifestyle magazines and the one we recommend for couples who want the wedding-album centrepiece.
Eight-Day Editorial Pricing
Atelier Premium only (the four-day-and-six-day Classic tier does not extend to eight): from US$32,400. Atelier Signature: from US$48,200. Helicopter overfly photography is included as standard in the eight-day Signature; it is an optional US$3,400 add-on for the eight-day Premium. The four-minute editorial highlight film is included as standard in both eight-day tiers.
The Curated Partner Fleet — What Each Vessel Tier Means
Vessel tier matters in Komodo because the phinisi configuration determines the master-suite quality, the deck-jacuzzi presence, the saloon scale, and the crew-to-guest ratio. Our season’s curated partner fleet currently includes four hand-selected vessels.
Vessel One — The Atelier Classic Phinisi
A thirty-five-metre modern phinisi built in Sulawesi in 2020. Single master suite at the stern with a private balcony, queen-sized bed, marine en-suite with rainfall shower, air conditioning, and a small private saloon. Sky deck for sunset cocktails, foredeck plunge pool (cold-water, not heated jacuzzi), and a four-person crew. The right vessel for newlywed couples who want a discreet smaller-scale platform.
Vessel Two — The Atelier Premium Phinisi
A forty-two-metre traditional-build phinisi with modern interiors, launched in 2018, refit 2024. Master suite at the stern with king-sized bed, full marine en-suite with separate freshwater rainfall shower, dedicated private saloon, and balcony access. Deck jacuzzi (genuinely heated, with frangipani turn-down service). Six-person crew including dedicated honeymoon-trained chef. The most-booked of our partner vessels — the configuration that most couples want.
Vessel Three — The Atelier Signature Phinisi
A fifty-metre flagship phinisi launched in 2021 with editorial-magazine pedigree. Twin master suites at the stern (one designated primary, one configured as a dedicated dressing room and spa annex), full master bathroom with marble vanities and a freestanding marine soaking tub, dedicated couples-spa massage deck on the upper level, full deck jacuzzi with sunset bar, sky-lounge with full kitchen for the chef’s tableside service, eight-person crew including a dedicated romantic concierge aboard. The vessel for milestone anniversaries and editorial voyages.
Vessel Four — The Modern Motor Yacht Alternative
A thirty-eight-metre European-built motor yacht imported into Indonesia in 2022. Faster cruising speed than any of the phinisi options (eighteen knots versus the phinisi nine-to-eleven knots), full air-conditioned interior, modern fittings, and a five-person crew. The right vessel for honeymoon couples who prefer a contemporary aesthetic over the traditional phinisi character. The complete vessel comparison appears on our best honeymoon yacht Komodo vessel options field guide.
The Crew Brief — Why Our Romantic Configuration Differs
Every captain on our partner fleet holds a current Indonesian harbour-master credential, the SIUPAL operating licence, and a minimum of seven years’ commercial Komodo experience. The deckhands hold MMD seafarer credentials with current rescue swimmer training. The chefs are graduates of either the Surya Internasional Hotel School or the Bali Culinary Pastry School with previous service in five-star resort kitchens. What separates our charter from a standard Komodo charter is the brief: the evening before each voyage we walk the entire crew through the couple’s specific romantic preferences — the morning coffee ritual, the photography mood register (intimate-romantic versus group-energetic), the music register at sunset cocktails, the breakfast-in-bed protocol on day three, and any milestone the voyage commemorates. The brief is what converts a beautiful phinisi into a curated honeymoon experience.
What Is and Is Not Included — The Honest Inclusion List
Included in the headline price: yacht charter for the full voyage duration, captain and crew time, fuel, all meals (breakfast, lunch, afternoon tea, dinner) prepared by the dedicated chef with seasonal Indonesian and international menus, all soft drinks and Indonesian coffee, the welcome champagne, sunset cocktails every evening with one signature cocktail per couple, snorkel and stand-up paddleboard equipment, all national park entry fees, all Komodo and Rinca ranger fees, all conservation fees, all harbour fees and clearance, the Labuan Bajo airport-to-jetty transfer at arrival and departure, the topside and underwater photographer with full gallery delivery within seven days, and the romantic concierge’s twenty-four-hour WhatsApp support. Not included in the headline: hard liquor and wine beyond the welcome champagne and the sunset signature cocktails (a curated wine cellar is available at corkage cost); the optional vow-renewal ceremony coordination (US$1,800–US$4,200 depending on celebrant); the optional helicopter overfly photography (US$3,400 unless included in the eight-day Signature); the optional live string quartet flown in from Bali (US$2,400); spa treatments aboard if commissioned; and tipping which we leave to your discretion. There is no upselling once you are aboard. The price you sign at deposit is the price at the dock.
Booking, Deposit, and Cancellation
The booking flow is conversational. WhatsApp us at +62 811 3941 4563 with your wedding date or anniversary date, your group size, your priority romantic gestures, and any photography wish-list items. Within three business hours we return a tailored consultation document with photographs of three vessel options at three tiers and a complete daily itinerary draft. A thirty-percent deposit secures the vessel. The remaining balance is due thirty days before embarkation. Cancellation policy: full refund minus a US$185 bank-handling fee for cancellations more than ninety days before embarkation; deposit converts to an eighteen-month future-date credit for cancellations between ninety and thirty days; partial credit inside thirty days. Force-majeure (weather, harbour-master closure, government restrictions, family emergencies on production of documentation) is always a full reschedule with no fee.
Lead Time and Seasonality
Komodo’s dry-season window — May through October — is the photogenic peak and the high-demand booking period. Lead time during peak runs four to eight months for the Premium and Signature vessels and six to twelve months for the eight-day editorial voyage. Shoulder seasons (November and April) accept bookings two to three months ahead. The wet-season months of January, February, and early March are sometimes available with thirty days’ notice if a vessel cancellation slot opens, and we honestly recommend reading our cost and 2026 pricing breakdown for the seasonal price-band logic before locking your dates.
Why Our Concierge Wins Returning Bookings
The repeat-booking rate across our anniversary cohort sits at twenty-eight percent year-over-year — meaning roughly one in four newlywed couples returns within five years for an anniversary voyage. The reason is not the vessel (the partner fleet is excellent but other operators have similar fleet); it is the consultation depth, the romantic register of the crew brief, and the operator-to-couple ratio. We cap our atelier at roughly thirty-two confirmed honeymoon voyages per season across the curated fleet, which keeps our captain quality, our chef quality, and our photographer quality at a tier no high-volume operator can match.
