Founder & Chief Experience Officer
Credentials: B.S. in Hospitality Management, Cornell University; Certified Hospitality Supervisor (CHS); 20+ years experience with Aman Resorts and Four Seasons across Southeast Asia.
Bio: Banyu is the visionary behind our bespoke approach. After two decades managing some of the world’s most iconic luxury properties, he returned to his native Indonesia with a mission to create a service that rivaled the best on the global stage. He saw the raw, untamed beauty of Komodo and envisioned a way for discerning travelers to experience it with the highest levels of comfort, safety, and personalization. Banyu personally oversees our partner selection and itinerary design, ensuring every journey meets the exacting standards of the Juara Holding Group.

Head of Concierge Services
Credentials: Certified by Himpunan Pramuwisata Indonesia (HPI) as an Expert Guide; Former Resort Manager at NIHI Sumba; Fluent in English, Indonesian, and Bahasa Flores.
Bio: Sari is the heart of our client experience. Born and raised in Flores, she possesses an encyclopedic knowledge of the region’s culture, ecology, and hidden gems. Her extensive network, from local village chiefs to the top dive masters, allows her to unlock doors that are closed to others. Sari leads the concierge team with a philosophy of ‘intuitive service,’ training them to anticipate needs and craft the thoughtful surprises that elevate a trip from great to unforgettable. She ensures every detail, from dietary preferences to transfer logistics, is executed flawlessly.
Captain Iwan Kusuma
Director of Marine Operations & Safety
Credentials: Ahli Nautika Tingkat I (ANT I) Master Mariner certification from the Indonesian Ministry of Transportation (Kementerian Perhubungan); PADI Divemaster; Certified in Maritime Safety and Emergency Response.
Bio: Safety and excellence on the water are Captain Iwan’s domain. With over 25 years of experience navigating the Indonesian archipelago, from the Sunda Strait to Raja Ampat, his expertise is unparalleled. He is responsible for the rigorous vetting of every yacht and crew in our portfolio. Captain Iwan conducts personal inspections of each vessel’s safety equipment, maintenance logs, and crew certifications, ensuring they not only meet but exceed the standards set by the Ditjen Perhubungan Laut. His steady hand and deep respect for the sea ensure that every voyage is as safe as it is spectacular.
